Wallach was a member of the United States boxing team at the 1924 Paris Olympics as an alternate in the featherweight class; he did not compete in the Games. The winner of the gold medal in the featherweight class that year was Jackie Fields, a member of the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
Following the Olympics, Wallach fought professionally for a number of years in the 1920s.
