A member of the French kayak team, Fox-Jerusalmi won the bronze medal in the K1 slalom event at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Probably the greatest Frenchwoman in kayaking history, Miryam was one of the world's best individual kayakers in the 1980s and 1990s. She competed for France in the K-1 World Championships six times (1983, 1985, 1989, 1991, 1993, and 1995), winning the individual title in 1989 and 1993; she also finished eighth in 1995. Married to Australian National Team coach Richard Fox, Miryam currently coaches in Australia and works for the Australian Institute of Sport.
