Berger was Israel's sole representative in the women's tennis competition at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. In her first-round match, she lost to Jill Hetherington of Canada in straight sets (6-1, 6-4), and was eliminated from the competition.

Competitive in the 1980s and 1990s, Berger was selected as one of the Israel's top three female tennis players of the previous 50 years in 1998. She is currently a sports correspondent for the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz.
