With twin brother, Maurice Rozenthal, Francois (a winger) competed at the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympiads as a member of the French ice hockey team. At the 1998 Nagano Games, the French team went 1-2 in the qualifying round and then defeated Italy, 5-1 to finish in 11th place. Rozenthal did not score during the tournament.

Four years later, the Rozenthal twins returned to the Winter Games in Salt Lake City. While Maurice had a hand in all four of France's goals (three goals, one assist), Francois was held scoreless. France tied Switzerland in their first game, 3-3, but lost to Belarus (3-1) and did not advance to the final round. In their final preliminary game against Ukraine, France lost, 4-2. France's final game of the tournament was against Switzerland in the placement game (13th/14th); the French lost 7-1.

Career Highlights:
Both Francois and brother Maurice Rozenthal turned professional with their hometown team of Dunkerque in 1992 at the 17. Since then, they have remained teammates throughout their 10-year career, including a move to Bjoerkloeven in Sweden in 2001-02. Prior to this, they had spent their entire career in France, and after playing two seasons with Dunkerque, they played with Reims from 1994-1996 as Francois was named Rookie of the Year in the French League.

The Rozenthal brothers moved to Amiens prior to the 1996-97 season and Francois registered a career-high 29 points (16 goals, 13 assists) in 1999; Maurice was a three-time MVP of the French League. In 2001-02, they joined Bjoerkloeven in Sweden. During this time, both Francois and Maurice have competed in four World Championships as members of the French National team.
