At the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Zuckerman was a member of the Israeli sailing team and competed in the men's 470 competition (two-person dinghy) with partner Elad Ronen. The duo finished in 13th place with 99 points after getting off to a good start in the competition. They finished third in the first race and in the top ten in races 2 and 3, but they steadily fell back through the tournament to finish 13th.

Zuckerman and partner Ronen finished ninth in the men's 470 sailing competition at the 1999 World Championships; during the 1999 season, they were ranked No. 9 in the world. As of June 29, 2001, Zuckerman and Ronen were ranked No. 16 in the world in the 470 after seven events.
