Garber played on the offensive line at Michigan in the mid-1930s.
Birth and Death Dates:
After playing as a back-up in 1935 when the Wolverines had a record of 4-4-0, Garber was a bright spot in an otherwise miserable 1936 season. That year, Garber was named Grantland Rice All-America honorable mention, and AP All-Western Conference honorable mention while Michigan finished with a record of 1-7-0 (0-5-0 in conference).
Garber played guard at the University of Michigan from 1935-1936.
