Ilowit, Roy "Baby Leroy"

Ilowit played one season in the NFL and then became a head coach at C.W. Post College.

Career Highlights:
Ilowit played tackle for CCNY in the mid-1930s and captained the team in 1936. After graduating in 1937, he appeared in four games in the NFL with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1937; the team had a record of 3-7-1, fourth in the league.

After his only season in the NFL, Ilowit became the athletic director, and head coach of the football team at C.W. Post College (NY) and compiled a record of 31-31-0. He also served as dean of the school. He is a member of the CCNY Athletic Hall of Fame.

Ilowit played tackle at City College of NY from 1934-1936. He then played as a tackle in the NFL with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1937.
