Career Highlights:
Ashkenazi officiated the 1964 Olympic gold medal game. In the final, Hungary defeated Czechoslovakia, 2-1. One of the Hungarian defensemen was Arpad Orban. Ashkenazi was also a referee at the 1966 World Cup Finals, and officiated many international games in the 1960s and 1970s.
