Wozniak, a goalkeeper, played in Poland in the 1950s before becoming a coach. He coached the U.S. National team in 1973.

Career Highlights:
According to the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (www.hebrewuniversity.org/Hebrew/JSHF/HallYear.htm), Wozniak was a Polish All-Star from 1952-56 and an Israeli All-Star from 1956-59. He then coached in Israel, Germany, and the United States and led the Los Angeles Toros from 1966-67. In 1973, Wozniak coached the Los Angeles Maccabee team to the U.S. Open Cup Championship (considered the national championship). Later that year, he coached the U.S. National team.
