Liztherman played professionally in Argentina for a number of clubs, including Racing Club de Avellaneda, Ferro Carril Oeste, Boca Juniors, and Atlanta. He also played in Uruguay for Penarol. In 1941, as a member of Racing Club, he scored 23 goals (fourth in the league) as his club finished in seventh place in the league with 33 points.
