At the 1976 Olympics, Lev was a defender on the Israeli soccer team that reached the quarterfinals and finished fifth. He started and played in two of the three preliminary games where Israel drew with Guatemala, 0-0, Mexico, 2-2, and France, 1-1 (Lev did not play against France).
