The National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, 74 Hauppauge Road, Commack, N.Y. is pleased to announce four special events, all held at the Suffolk Y JCC in Commack, to be held in 2007: The Future of Women's Sports on March 1 beginning at 7:00p.m. Panelists include WTT Commissioner Ilana Kloss and Women's Sports Foundation CEO Dr. Donna Lopiano; "American Judaism's Contemporary Scorecard" lecture with Dr. Jeffrey Gurock on March 15, starting at 7:00p.m.; The 15th Annual Induction Ceremonies, with such honorees as swimmer Mark Spitz, broadcaster Howard Cosell, basketball player Lennie Rosenbluth and eight others from the world of sports. The inductions begin at 10:30a.m. on Sunday, April 29; "Sting Like a Maccabee" Jewish Boxing Symposium, on Sunday, May 20, with panelists such as Budd Schulberg, Hank Kaplan, Bert Randolph Sugar, Steve Albert and many others from the world of boxing.
