Fabrikant was a member of the Israeli sailing team at the last two Olympiads and competed in the women's 470 event with partner, Shani Kedmi. At the 1996 Atlanta Games, the two Israelis were in ninth place after seven races and were in a position to medal, but they finished 12th overall in the competition (93.00 penalty points).

At the 2000 Sydney Games, Fabrikant and Kedmi improved on their 1996 time in the women's 470 competition. Going into the final race, they were only one point behind the third-place team. They finished in fourth place, two points behind the bronze medal-winning Ukrainian team.

Career Highlights:
Anat began sailing competitively at the age of 12. Her first international competition was in 1992 at the European Junior Championships. With her partner Shani Kedmi, Anat placed eighth at the 1995 European Championships in the double dinghy-handed 470 competition, and then finished 18th at the 1996 World Championships.

The duo placed fourth at the both the European and World Championships in 1999; during the 1999 season, they were ranked No. 2 in the world. After finishing in sixth place at the 2000 European Championships, they were ranked No. 13 in the world in December 2001. In 2002, Anat teamed with Linur Kliger and finished 20th at the World Championships. As of October 1, 2002, Anat, along with Kliger, was ranked No. 8 in the world.
