Olympic Info:
One of Israel's greatest track and field competitors, Nachum has competed in the triple jump in the last three Olympiads. His first appearance in the Olympics occurred at the 1992 Barcelona Games where he placed 24th.

Rogel then returned to the Olympics at the 1996 Atlanta Games and finished ninth in his qualifying group with a distance of 16.67-meters. He did not qualify for the finals and officially finished in 17th place.

At the 2000 Sydney Games, Nachum captained the Israeli team and finished 12th in his preliminary heat with a jump of 16.39-meters but did not advance to the semifinals. He ranked 23rd overall.

Career Highlights:
One of Israel's greatest jumpers, Nachum has competed internationally for over a decade. A triple jumper, he placed 29th at the 1991 World Championships, 14th at the 1993 World Championships, 11th in 1995, and 14th in 1999. He also placed 16th at the 1990 European Championships, and 8th at the 1998 European Championships in the triple jump.

Nachum's personal best in the triple jump is 17.20 meters. He won that event at the 1989 Maccabiah Games, and currently holds the long jump (7.96 meters) and triple jump (17.20 meters) national records; he previously held the high jump record. Nachum retired from competition in 2002.
