Olympic Info:
A member of Israel's boxing team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Neiman was eliminated from the flyweight division after losing his first bout to Bulat Dzumadilov of Kazakhstan. Dzumadilov, who won the silver at the Olympics, scored early and often during the bout. Neiman said following the fight: "I had a good left but I was not able to react to his lefts...his punches were not that strong, but they counted." Because he was behind in points after the first two rounds, Neiman was forced to attempt to knock out his opponent in the third, and final, round. Unfortunately, the strategy did not work and Neiman lost the match and his chances to advance.
