Czak was a member of the Hungarian track and field team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. She competed in the high jump and cleared a height of 5'3" (1.60-meters) in the finals. Dorothy Odom of Great Britain and Elfriede Kahn of Germany also cleared that height, but Czak won the gold medal in a jump-off.
