Olympic Info:
At the 1960 Rome Olympics, Torok competed in the flyweight class as a member of Hungary's boxing team. He outpointed Rocky Gattellari of Australia (an Italian immigrant) in their quarterfinal bout, and then defeated Abdelmonem Elguindi in the semifinals. Torok then won the gold medal by defeating Sergei Sivko of the Soviet Union in the final (a 3-2 decision).
