At the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, Sidranski competed in two track and field events for Israel. In the 100-meter, she finished sixth in her preliminary heat with a time of 12.1, but did not advance because only the top five finishers from each heat ran in the next round (Sidranski missed advancing by 0.1 seconds). She then ran in the 200-meter, finishing in 24.68 seconds and did not advance past the preliminaries; Sidranski officially finished in 21st place.

Career Highlights:
One of Israel's best female sprinters in the 1960s, Sidranski broke the Israeli record (24.68) in the 200-meter at the Tokyo Games. As of June 2001, it was still the eighth best individual result in Israeli history. Miriam was also very successful in the 100-meter, breaking the national record with a time of 11.7 (hand-timed) in September 1964.
