Hetzroni was a member of Israel's track and field team at the 1960 Rome Olympics, competing in the women's shot put. She did not reach the qualifying distance of 47'6-3/4" in the preliminary round, and failed to advance to the finals.

Career Highlights:
One of Israel's top female throwers in the 1960s, Hetzroni broke the Israeli record in the shot put in July 1960, three months before the Olympics, with a distance of 13.02-meters. As of June 2001, it was still the seventh best individual result in Israel's history.
