Beletsky and his partner (and wife), Natalia Gudina, represented Israel at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games in the ice dancing competition. They were ranked in the top 25 in the world and joined another Israeli ice dancing team (Galit Chait and Sergei Sakanovsky are ranked in the top five) at the Olympics. Beletsky and Gudina finished 19th overall.

Career Highlights:
Beletsky, who began skating at the age of five, competed for Ukraine before emigrating to Israel and competing for his adopted country. After finishing fourth in Israel's National Championships in 1999, he and partner Natalia Gudina placed second the next two years. In 2001, they also competed in major international competitions for the first time, placing 17th at the European Championships and 25th at the World Championships.
