A member of Israel's swimming team at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, Ribner competed in the 100-meter freestyle. In her preliminary heat, she finished in seventh place with a time of 1:10.4, and did not advance to the finals.

Career Highlights:
One of Israel's best swimmer in the 1950s, Ribner held national records in the butterfly, medley swimming, and backstroke. She won the gold medal in the 100-meter, and 400-meter crawl at the 1953 Maccabiah Games, and captured two gold medals and two silver medals at the 1957 Maccabiah Games. In 1956, Ribner was named Israel's Athlete of the Year, and in 1998, she was honored as one of Israel's top 50 athletes in its history. Her son, Damon Fialkov, was Israel's 200-meter backstroke champion in 1981.
