Among those pictured are Ossie Schectman, Hank Rosenstein, Ralph Kaplowitz, Leo Gottlieb, and Hy Gotkin (Hy did not make the Knicks team).

This was told to the Knicks' head coach as the team reached the Canadian border; their first (and the NBA's first) game was in Toronto against the Huskies.
