Foreman played two seasons in the majors -- with the Chicago White Sox in 1924, and with the Boston Red Sox in 1926. The southpaw appeared in a total of six games, without either a win or a loss to his credit. After his playing days, Foreman managed in the minor leagues.

b. July 20, 1897 - d. February 13, 1953

Career Highlights:
Born in Memphis, Foreman served in the U.S. Army during World War I and then graduated from Chamberlain Hunt College. He then began his professional baseball career in the early 1920s and played in the minors for Memphis in the Southern League, and Clarksdale in the Cotton States League.

In 1924, Forman pitched three games in relief for the Chicago White Sox, allowing only one run in four innings for an excellent 2.25 ERA. Two years later, he returned to the majors with the Boston Red Sox, and pitched in three more games. This time he allowed three runs in 7.1 innings, for a 3.68 ERA.
