Goldberg, Ed

Goldberg played at Syracuse University in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was an outstanding scorer for the Orangemen, averaging over 15 points per game in all three of his seasons.

Career Highlights:
During his college basketball career, Goldberg was one of the best players at Syracuse University. In 1958, he was named All-America honorable mention, and Syracuse had a record of 11-10. Goldberg then led the Orangemen to a record of 14-9, but they only finished 4-19 in his final season (1961). That year, however, Goldberg was named All-America honorable mention for the second time in his career. Ed played in 58 games and finished his career with 943 points (16.3 average), and 153 rebounds (2.7).
