Career Highlights:
Nicknamed 'Rouge,' Friedman was a great player for CCNY in the early 1910s (and the early days of the program). In 1910-11, he led City College to a 7-2 record and was named second team All-East by The Spalding Guide as he led the team in scoring with 70 points (46 came on free throws). The following year, Friedman was equally outstanding as captain of CCNY, which finished with a 9-2 record. He again led the team in scoring with 92 points (60 on free throws)
