Career Highlights:
In October 1930, Goldman knocked out former world bantamweight champion Eddie "Cannonball" Martin (Martin fought only five more times after losing to Goldman). Two years later, Goldman was knocked out in the second-round by Benny Leonard on May 16, 1932. Leonard, the former world lightweight champion had retired in 1925, but was making a comeback because he had lost all his money in the Stock Market Crash in 1929; Goldman was the ninth victim in Leonard's comeback.
