Career Highlights:
In 1909, Stone fought future world welterweight champion Jack Britton in Philadelphia and the bout ended in a no decision. Three years later, the two fighters had a rematch in New York, and the fight again ended in a no decision. In 1913, Harry then faced another future world champion, Matt Wells (Wells won the title in 1914), but this time, Stone won a 20-round decision. Two years after beating Wells, Stone fought his third future champ when he faced the great Englishman, Ted "Kid" Lewis; Stone lost a decision. Harry continued to fight until the early 1920s and was knocked out in the second-round by contender George "K.O." Chaney in August 1921.
