Puller, who was born in Missouri but who lives in Israel, began his professional career in 1990 as a heavyweight. Tim won his first six fights until being stopped in the fifth-round of his December 1991 bout with Sim Warrior. Puller then won his next four fights, including a rematch with Warrior in October 1992. Nicknamed "The Hebrew Hammer," Puller has been fairly successful in his career and won all seven of his fights in 1999 (this after taking a three-year break). His most recent fight was a loss to Marvin Hart in a six-round decision on October 13, 2000; Puller has won 20 of 26 career fights.
