Career Highlights:
Elkins began his professional boxing career in the mid-1920s. In 1926, he defeated New Zealand lightweight champion Les Murray in a ten-round decision at Queensboro Stadium. The following year, Elkins defeated former featherweight contender Babe Herman in another ten-round decision.
