Career Highlights:
A Philadelphia bantamweight, Buck began his professional career in the early 1910s. In 1910, he fought a series of bouts with Kid Williams, the future world bantamweight champion who was also in the early stages of his career. Between August and November, the two boxers fought four bouts, which resulted in two draws and two Williams victories. In January 1911, Buck fought top lightweight George "K.O." Chaney and lost a 15-round decision. Two years later, they had a rematch that ended in a six-round draw.
