Fox was the British bantamweight and featherweight champion in the late 1910s and early 1920s.

Career Highlights:
Fox, a bantamweight and featherweight contender, fought world featherweight champ Johnny Dundee in a non-title bout in 1919; the fight ended in a six-round no decision. That same year, Fox fought an eight-round no decision bout with future bantamweight champion Joe Lynch. Three years later, Fox faced French featherweight champ Eugene Criqui, but was knocked out by the Frenchman in the 12th round (Criqui would end Dundee's 12-year reign as world champ the following year). In 1922, Fox also fought Young Otto in Otto's comeback attempt (he had not fought since 1919); the bout ended in a 12-round no decision. In 1923, Fox lost a fight to Curley Wilshur, but fought Hall of Famer Sammy Mandell to a no decision.
