Birth and Death Dates:
b. December 10, 1974

Career Highlights:
Pollack was a solid tight end for the Boston College Eagles in the mid-1990s. He enjoyed a terrific high school career (he was also an outstanding lacrosse player), then entered BC as a quarterback. After making the transition to tight end, Todd played limited minutes in 1994 because a nagging hamstring injury kept him off the field.

In 1995, Pollack moved up the depth chart and caught 25 passes for 182 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. Against West Virginia, Todd had the rare distinction of both throwing and catching a touchdown pass in the same game, but the Eagles still lost the game 31-19. Pollack also caught two touchdown passes in the final game of the year against Rutgers, including the game-winner for a 41-38 victory. That season, BC had a record of 4-8-0.

In 1996, Todd stepped up as the starting tight end and caught 22 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns. Although an ankle sprain limited his role in a couple of mid-season games, he caught six passes for 75 yards in a 20-13 loss against Pitt and threw another pass (not for a touchdown) in a 45-17 loss to Syracuse. The Eagles finished the season with a record of 4-8-0.

Entering the 1997 season, Pollack was named pre-season All-Big East by Athlon Publications and he lived up to the expectations. He had career-highs in receptions (28) and yards (296), had one touchdown and was named All-Big East first team. He also doubled as the long snapper. Against Army, he caught four passes for 48 yards and the game-winning touchdown in BC's 24-20 win. The Eagles finished with a record of 4-7-0. In 1998, Pollack was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round (177th overall) in the NFL Draft.
