Career Highlights:
Lipkis played for LSU for three seasons. In 1939, the Tigers had a record of 4-5-0. After losing the first game of the year, they won their next four games, but then lost their final four of the year. In 1940, the Tigers had a record of 6-4-0.

In 1941, LSU had a record of 4-4-2. Lipkis, who was named AP All-SEC second team, was also named the team's MVP. He won the Percy E. Roberts Award, named for a member of the LSU Board of Supervisors.
