Andrew William Kline

Kline was an All-conference performer on the offensive line at San Diego State in the 1990s. He was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the 2000 NFL Draft, but did not play in the NFL.

Career Highlights:
Kline played tackle and guard at San Diego State and was a three-year starter. After redshirting in 1995, he played sparingly as a reserve in 1996. In 1997, he started seven games and the Aztecs had a record of 5-7-0. The following year, he recorded 30 "pancake" blocks, the most on the team, and helped lead the Aztecs to a 7-4-0 regular season record (6-1-0 in the Mountain West). In the Las Vegas Bowl, the Aztecs lost to North Carolina 20-13.

In 1999, Kline was named Sporting News pre-season second team All-Mountain West. He lived up to expectations and was named second team Mountain West Conference, playing in the Blue-Grey Game despite the Aztecs 5-6-0 record (3-4-0 in conference).

Kline was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round (220th overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft, but was released by the Rams during the pre-season.
