In 1937, while playing at Brooklyn College, White led Eastern scorers with 113 points on 18 touchdowns and five conversions. He was the second leading scorer in the nation, with only the great Whizzer White with more points (122) -- Whizzer was an All-America and later became a Supreme Court Justice. That season, Sid was named first team Jewish All-America, along side the legendary Sid Luckman.
