Career Highlights:
Berkowitz played tackle for Rutgers in the mid-1920s and was a key player for the Scarlet Knights. In 1924, they finished the season with a record of 7-1-1, losing in their final game to Bucknell, 12-7. The following year, Rutgers had a record of 2-7-0. In 1926, Berkowitz was named MVP of the Scarlet Knights when they had a record of 3-6-0.
