Levison, George "Yatz"

Levison played as a back at Northwestern in the late 1920s. He was also a member of the basketball team.

Career Highlights:
As a member of Evanston High School in the mid-1920s, Levison captained the team and was named second team All-Suburban (Chicago) as a senior in 1924. Levison then attended Northwestern University (located in Evanston), and as a sophomore in 1926, started a few games as the Wildcats had a record of 7-1-0 and tied Michigan for first in the Big Ten. The following year, Levison played quarterback and Northwestern had a record in 4-4-0 and in 1928, they finished 5-3-0. Following his senior year, Levison was a member of the East squad in the 1929 East-West Shrine Game.
