William Saltzman

A member of the Franklin & Marshall Sports Hall of Fame, Saltzman was captain of the Franklin & Marshall football team in 1930.

Career Highlights:
Saltzman played college ball at Franklin & Marshall for three seasons, and the team had a combined record of 17-8-1 during his career. As a sophomore in 1929, he scored three touchdowns while playing halfback. The following season, Bill was the captain of the Nevonians (now known as the Diplomats). He helped Franklin & Marshall defeat Catholic University, 22-7, on a triple reserve; it was the last time F & M defeated Catholic. That season, he scored four touchdowns and kicked three field goals.
