Hyman Crizevsky

A terrific all-around athlete who played on Northwestern University's football and baseball teams, Crizevsky played guard on the football team in the early 1930s. A catcher on the baseball team, Crizevsky was captain of the team in 1932.

In 1930, Northwestern had a record of 7-1-0 and tied for first in the Big Ten with Michigan. Their only loss was to Notre Dame in the final game of the season (14-0), and they outscored their opponents 182-36 on the season. The following year, the Wildcats repeated as Big Ten champions and had a record of 7-1-1.
