Career Highlights:
An impressive product of the illustrious Maccabi Tel Aviv youth system, Biton was integral in winning the national youth team cup in 1997-98, and he was soon promoted to the senior club. He then scored a goal in his debut against Kfar-Sava with great aplomb.

During the 2000-01 season, Biton made more frequent appearances for Maccabi but scored only one goal, and added five assists.

In the 2001-02 season, Biton made six assists and scored three goals. He became a regular starter and appeared for the senior national team, performing well in the 5-0 drubbing of Luxembourg. As a member of the Israel National team, Biton scored his first goal for Israel on November 20, 2002, against Macedonia. Israel was tied 2-2 in the away game when an extra time Avi Nimni pass cut through the defense. Biton ran through two defenders before converting a glorious chip over the hapless goalkeeper for the winner.

During the 2002-03 season, Maccabi Tel-Aviv won its first Israel League title since 1996. Biton, the starting right winger throughout the season, scored a career-high five goals while adding six assists. In 2003-04 Biton often found himself on the bench as he did not fit in well, with the more defensive approach Maccabi took that year. He was still an influential player, starting 17 games and 13 appearances as a substitute while contributing 3 goals and 4 assists. In 2004-05 Biton will have to shoulder a heavy load, since the Maccabi brass has decided to base itself heavily on the younger players.
