At the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games, the first to include women's swimming, Sticker competed in both individual and team events. In the 100-meter freestyle, she finished fourth in her preliminay heat with a time of 1:31.8 (the fastest among Austrian swimmers) and did not advance to the semifinals. Sticker swam the third leg in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay (which only had a final), with Jewish teammates Klara Milch and Margarete Adler. The Austrian team finished third (out of four team) with a time of 6:17.0 to take the bronze medal (Great Britain won the gold in 5:52.8).
