Bar-Yehoshua was a member of the Israeli track and field team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He was an alternate for the 4x100 meter relay team. and did not compete at the Games.

Career Highlights:
At the 2000 Israeli Athletics Championships, Mickey qualified for the Olympics by finishing the 100-meter in 10.6 seconds. On June 6, 2001, he lowered his personal best to 10.54, which is currently the eighth fastest time in Israeli history. Mickey's best in the 200-meter is 21.05, set in 2003; it's the fifth best in Israeli history.
