In 1993, he won the European Championship; in 1994, Inbar was fifth in the World Championship; and in 1997, he finished second in the World Championships.

In European competition, Inbar won the gold medal at the 1998 European Championships and the silver medal at the 2000 European Championships. He also placed fourth at the 2000 World Championships, second in the mistral at the 1998 World Championships, and won the 2000 South American Championships. In 2001, he continued to be one of the top sailboarders and was ranked as high as No. 11. Inbar then missed a few events and slipped in the rankings.
