Olympic Info:
A member of Brazil's sailing team, Adler competed in the Soling class event (three-man keelboat) at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. After finishing third in the Race 1, the Brazilian team finished second in the Race 3. They then finished tenth in Races 4 and 5, but came on strong in the final two races of the competition, finishing first and third respectively. Adler and Brazil ended with 43.4 points, good enough for second place and the silver medal (the U.S. finished first with 33.7 points).

Career Highlights:
With teammates Torben Grael and Ronaldo Senfft, Adler was Brazil's National Soling champion seven times between 1980-1989. He also competed in the Pan American Games twice, winning the silver in 1983 and the bronze in 1987.
