Born in Romania, Schorr emigrated to Israel in 1963 as a well-known shooting competitor. At the 1972 Munich Olympics, he was the head coach of the Israeli shooting team. Schorr and 10 other members of the Israeli delegation were killed by Arab terrorists at the Games. He was 53 years old.

Career Highlights:
A member of Hapoel Tel Aviv, Schorr was the Israeli National team shooting coach for the 1971 Asian Games. According to the New York Times, Schorr was, "credited with having developed Israel's rifle team into one of the 20 best in the world."
