At the 1984 Los Angeles Games, Kallos was a member of Canada's Greco-Roman wrestling team and competed in the 90-kg division (light-heavyweight). In his first match, he lost to Tori Hannula of Finland on points, 11-3. Kallos lost his second, and final, match to Frank Andersson of Sweden, 15-3 and was pinned at 4:16. Andersson was the eventual bronze medalist.

Career Highlights:
Kallos competed at the 1977 and 1981 Maccabiah Games and was Canada's wrestling coach at the 1993 and 1997 Maccabiah Games. A gold medalist in the 95-kg division at the All-Canadian championships, he also won the gold at the 1983 Pan American Games.
