Sharon was Israel's sole representative in women's gymnastics at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. She finished 47th in the vault, 56th in the floor exercise, 57th in the balance beam, and 89th in the uneven bars.

Career Highlights:
One of Israel's top female gymnasts in the 1980s, Sharon competed for her hometown club team, Hapo'oel Kiryat Biyalik. In 1987, Sharon competed at the World Championships for the second time and finished in 92nd place in the all-around competition; in 1983, she finished 120th at the World Championships. In 1988, the same year she competed in the Olympics, she was Israel's National all-around champion.
