Nadbornik competed at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics in the heavyweight division of the Greco-Roman wrestling event. He lost both of his preliminary matches.

Career Highlights:
A member of Maccabi Helskinki, Nadbornik was the Finnish champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in 1971. He won a number of medals at the World Maccabiah Games in both Greco-Roman and freestyle competitions and represented Finland in European championships during his wrestling career.
