Career Highlights:
Kramer, who played guard, center, and forward during his career at Dartmouth, joined the varsity squad as a sophomore in 1930. That season, he scored 42 points during Ivy League play (third on the team, 16th in the conference) and the Big Green finished 4-6 in conference and 11-9 overall.

The following season, Kramer and the rest of the Dartmouth team improved their play and finished second in the conference with a 6-4 record (14-6 overall). Irv was the team's second highest scorer in conference play with 39 points (20th in the Ivy League).

In 1932, his senior season, Kramer was Dartmouth's captain. That year, the team finished 15-6 overall and 5-5 in the Ivy League, although Kramer's scoring dropped a bit that season. He finished the year with 23 points (sixth on the team and 29th in the conference).
