The younger brother of early Jewish great, Sid Terris, Danny fought Hall of Famer Tony Canzoneri twice in 1925.

b. November 7, 1906 - d. May 1973

Career Highlights:
A bantamweight in the 1920s, Terris fought future world champion Tony Canzoneri twice in December 1925. Both fights were held in New York City, and after losing the first bout on December 7 in a six-round decision, Danny was knocked out in the fourth round of the second bout sixteen days later. In February 1928, Danny defeated a boxer named George Bell in a six-round decision also in New York City.
